The water is quite shallow here & crystal clear, amongst the weeds on the river bed, its tarmished hilt partially buried in the sand is a broken sword.

The river is carrying you downstream, a shadow passes overhead, you must be underneath the pontoon. The river changes color ahead, the current seems stronger, moving you faster & faster towards the disturbed water but you are beginning to feel short of breath & decide it would be prudent to surface & see what lies ahead.
