In the light of the doorway you can make out some faint marks of Welcome on a scroll lying on the ground nearby, beyond this nothing is visible in the dark cave.
Suddenly all around you, there are flashes of color, everywhere there are eyes, eyes that watch from the black & then are gone. An unfamiliar smell pervades the cave & from somewhere beyond the darkness comes a strange rustling sound & the squeal of a bat. Run seems like a good option here
